Flynn founded FrameQuery in 2024 after years as a video editor spending whole days scrubbing footage for single shots.
The product processes a small fraction of each video's frames, chosen by scene, and analyses those. That keeps indexing cheap enough to sell to individual editors rather than only to studios.
FrameQuery runs on macOS and Windows. It indexes footage by transcript, speaker, objects, scenes and faces, exports selects to Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, and keeps the search index on your own machine.
